Be positive!
And be kind!

You are bound to offend someone in the stands and whether or not you have an all-star player, you will hear some flack.

Lets face it, all of these parents are putting in their greatest effort, and these ARE their kids!

Be whoever you want to be as their cheerleader. You show up for your kids more than just in the stands! Who do you want them to remember “cheering” them on?

We all put a lot of time and effort into these sports, carpooling to and from practices, late nights, dinners misaligned, leftovers on the table, last minute change of plans, show them YOU are adaptable, and YOU are trying your best, and showing up the best YOU can….they will mirror your image!

Whether it’s the tie-breaking goal, the game winning hit, a super sick pass, or an RBI, my kids know I’m there to support them, no matter their current mind set.

Sports play a huge role in their growth and development. We are teaching them key skills to their success in these years and beyond!

So be the loud crazy mom, or the one who shows up with 1,000 snacks, a wagon, an umbrella, the cutest outfit, the one who just fell out of bed, a BBQ to serve everyone a hot breakfast, you do you. This is supposed to be fun and a learning experienceafter all!

There are parents who are too negative, or too loud, or too involved….forget about them! You are there to show your child your support, and as long as your child sees that, that is ALL that matters.
