Hi! I’m Kacie, mom of two, RN by trade and travel sports mom by choice
During the work week, you will find me rooming patients, working on nursing schedules, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments.
During our down-time….we live and breath sports, literally….
Blaine, my oldest son has been indebted to baseball since diapers. He found hockey a bit later, but still, we DO the commitment when baseball isn’t in season here in Vermont.
Madek is following closely in his brother’s footsteps. He is in his second year of baseball and 1st year of hockey, in addition to swimming and karate, he tends to keep us just as busy as big brother Blaine.
Little did I know, I was birthing these babes into sports. We were always going to be a sports family, so rather than fight it, we have chosen to embrace the lifestyle, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
I have created this website to share and elaborate on our commitments and help those going through a similar trajectory. But also, to be a point of solace and understanding. Please, share away with your experiences! I don’t know that I have the answer for any of your questions, but I’ll do my best to help seek the answers, or at least, be a sounding board for you and your commiserations during the travel sports mom processes!
